Salon Policy


If you miss, cancel or change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a cancellation fee (50% fee to cancel within 24 hours, 100% no show fee). This policy is in place out of respect for our therapists and our clients. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.


Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your treatment for your own relaxation. Late arrivals will result in shortened treatment time. Treatments will be charged at full price.


We reserve the right to request a deposit in order to secure an appointment.


We request that children and babies are not brought into the salon for long periods of time to respect the relaxing environment we wish to provide also to comply with current health & safety regulations.

Please let us know at the time of booking:

- If you suffer from any allergies or medical conditions, as some treatments may not be suitable for you.

- If you are pregnant or trying to conceive, as some treatments may not be advisable.


All courses must be paid for in full at the first appointment. Courses are non-refundable and must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase for Sunbed and Facials and 3 months for Spray Tan.

Appointments within the course are subject to our cancellation policy above.

Gift Vouchers

No refunds can be given for Gift Vouchers. Damaged or defaced cards cannot be accepted. Impress cannot accept responsibility for loss of cards once issued. Valid for 1 year and must be produced at the time of the treatment.

Loyalty Cards

Collect a stamp every time you visit our salon and spend £20 or more on beauty, nails or spray tan treatments and be rewarded with discounted treatments.

Stamps cannot be collected for treatments booked via Treatwell application/website.

The Loyalty Card holders must produce their card on purchase in order to collect a stamp.

The Loyalty Card is not transferable, and can only be used by the person to whom the card was issued.

Discounts can be only deducted from the full price of the treatment.

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time.

In this privacy policy references to ‘we’ or ‘us’ refer to Impress Beauty Boutique. This policy will explain what information we collect about you and how we use it.

The information we collect and how

At Impress Beauty Boutique we take privacy seriously and only use the information we collect to provide our services. We do not share or sell the information we collect for any other purpose than providing the best possible service for our clients. At any time, you may request a copy of information we have recorded about you. You may also request we remove all identifiable information with respect to yourself. As a matter of course, we will delete your identifiable information if you have not undertaken business with us after 2 years.

For transparency, listed are the business services we provide and how each service uses the information we collect.

Providers of our salon IT systems: Treatwell

We have rigorous data protection and security policies in place with all our suppliers.

Some of the people working in our salon are self-employed.  Where software systems and reception facilities are shared, our self-employed colleagues will have access to your information.

We will not share your information with any other third party without your consent except to help prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law.

Beauty related services:

We request the minimum level of personally identifying information to run our business effectively. This is data you provide us directly, for example, your name and contact details. We will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside our business. We store notes with respect to services we undertake to ensure we maintain and exceed our level of service. For example, your preferred colour nail varnish, colour codes, how you like your coffee and who your favourite beauticians or nail technicians are. We consider you have provided consent for us to store personally identifying information and information about your services based on your receiving services from us. Depending on the particular service(s) we are providing we may be required to ask questions related to your medical history. We will obtain your consent prior to storing information related to your medical history. Examples of medical data may be allergies, pregnancy or an injury that may impact our service.

Appointment confirmations and reminders:

We will contact you via phone, email or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments. We consider your having made the appointment as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt-out at any time.

Appointment ratings and reviews:

After visiting us we may send you an email or SMS asking you to rate our services and provide feedback. We consider your agreement and participation in the service as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt out at any time.


We consider becoming a member of our loyalty program as consent to send you emails related to the loyalty program but, if you want, you may opt out at any time.


We will not undertake phone, mail, email or SMS marketing without you first providing consent for us to do so. Our marketing campaigns are automated and use rules based on services and products purchased and information we collect from you. For example, we may send marketing campaigns related to your birthday, the fact we miss you (you have not visited for 3 months) and other special days like Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Of course, you may opt out of receiving marketing material at any time.

We use Treatwell software solution within our business to provide the services listed above. This software solution stores data in secured data centres outside our business premise.
